What are the best aspects of this product?

Easier to learn than other maintenance software like SAP.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The add on for ordering parts is an absolute nightmare that still doesn't work well 3 years of upgrades.
The single biggest sin of this program is it will not allow a planner of open multiple groups work orders. Two is the absolute minimum required. Three is beginning to be acceptable. Infor only allows one.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

It needs to block work orders from being closed without all the parts having been filled. It currently deletes all unfilled orders and creates a nightmare.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Been utilizing EAM for years already, and I continue to recommend it to my clients because of its flexible features that no other app can offer. Most of my clients have specific requests, especially when it comes to their internal processes, which can be quite complex to deal with. The good news is that EAM is built to cater to these changes by adjusting to the client's needs and not the other way around. It is assured to deliver you better results when managing your assets and controlling your spending.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I think that whenever Inform EAM would decide to update their system, then they should no longer retain the old menus in the dashboard because it makes things confusing to most of its users like me. They have done this several times already, and the period of adjustment has taken longer than usual. Also, the pricing of teaching assets should be indicated clearly into the system, so it would be easier to decide if you can afford to acquire it or look for other options instead.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We cater to clients from different sectors, but I can say that EAM is highly compatible software for companies that specialize in mass production. Our job is to provide in-depth training to their staff and teach them how to maximize the use of EAM to ensure the longevity of all their current assets. We teach them how to encode assets, handle traceability issues, handle forecasting, and resolve work orders efficiently.

What are the best aspects of this product?

The entire app is customizable, so you don't have to deal with other things that do not concern your team or department.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The development team behind this product works slow. We expect fast response and immediate solutions to issues that are brought up to them.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Everything that you need to know about an asset or equipment is readily available from the system.

What are the best aspects of this product?

The support system that comes with the product is at its best. There is nothing more that I could ask for. Also, the cellphone app has been seamlessly working ever since we installed it.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Documentation issues can hamper the existing workflow process. I’ve also noticed that the overall layout of the UI is not that attractive anymore.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It's a good thing that we could compile all of our assets and categorize them into the platform. We have seen a big difference in how we handle assets repair without worrying about affecting the finances and productivity of the business.

What are the best aspects of this product?

It allows us to implement checks and balances within our existing assets. All equipment undergoes a specific procedure to determine its worth in the organization. The app makes it easier for us to decide whether to allow an asset to undergo maintenance or let it go and replace it with a brand new unit.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Seeking for help whenever something goes wrong can be a challenging event to deal with. I wish that EAM could provide users like us around the clock support system and faster response time. It would also be nice if they could deal with software licensing issues on a more complex level.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

No need to keep hard copies of asset purchase documents because everything can be found within the EAM platform. It is easier to schedule preventive maintenance and assigning the WO to someone from your team. Also, we have fewer incidents of repairing broken machinery because EAM is there to help us monitor the status of each of our income generating asset.
