My name is Arun Mehta,MD.I am US Board Certified Internist and cardiologist. I registered 3 years ago on invitation but was inactive.Recently I answererd some querys on the information provided.I have directed the platform to remove my name after having reviewed in depth the workings of the platform and 18 pages of legal disclaimer ,which simply said is a platform without actual medical facility. Patients/people/clients should use web platforms of US based hospitals to post their query/concern which are reviewed and replied by hospital affiliated doctors/consultants who you can consult in person. It is best to see your personal physician for any problem and ask or write to him for any query rather than using a commercial platform like ICLINIQ or other stand alone web platforms. It is not in the best interest of patient or doctor to seek opinion/advice or treatment without seeing each other in person.
I have used Icliniq twice. The first time, I researched the doctors listed in a particular specialty and choose one with many years of experience. I was immediately notified that he was "unavailable" and could the assign someone else -- "Trust us. We will get you a superb answer.". They do not tell you the qualifications of the doctor they assign nor let you approve the individual doctor. I choose a renowned specialist and may have been assigned to a 1st year PA for all I knew.I was NOT happy with the doctor who was assigned. I gave "thumbs down" review to the doctor and added comments that the doctor had made a response without review of all of the data and tests I supplied. There was no refund or contact by customer service.I decided to write that off as a fluke. In Feb 2020, I again researched doctors in a different specialty and found one I liked with 29 years of clinical experience. I paid, submitted my question, and my medical record and waited for his reply.Just like the first instance, the doctor I chose was mysteriously "unavailable" and again they told me "Trust us. We will get you a superb answer."I declined. I told them it was a statistical improbability that I chose two doctors, in different specialties, six months apart -- and both of them were "unavailable". Both of these doctors were experts in their field, and had many years of clinical experience.It seems suspicious to me that the most experienced doctors are unavailable.I have requested a refund as well as the cancellation and removal of my account data from their platform.
They are cheaters!!! I paid for consultation and the doctor asked me a stupid question and to reply again I have to pay!!!! This is new method of fraud!
Horrible! I paid the amount and for that I could continue the chat for 50 hours. First of all, in a situation we all are in, it’s difficult to go to a doctor and whatever happens is scary so we are more panicked. I shared my report to a doctor after which she tells me what it meant. Okay! After this I ask her some questions about the same report just to be sure and then she tells me another thing which contradicts what she said earlier. I still kept my calm and thought I’d reframe it. Now she’s confused as to what she has to tell so she ends up being rude, unreasonable and irrelevant. A total waste of time and money!
