Time-tracking is everything to me, so I love that it's so easy to track my time. I wake up, open my computer, and just go. And I appreciate the invoicing template, too – when I'm ready to send in my hours, plugging it all in take 3 clicks of a button, instead of manually typing everything up.

While my review is 4 stars, I give the creators behind Hectic 5 stars for this brilliant effort. However, the platform needs several additions and changes before it's worthy of being paid for by freelancers like myself (just my humble opinion). For example, I feel like the features and options added to the project section are too few and too narrow in scope. If I was on the development team, I would suggest taking (some of) the most useful features from Asana and creating them in the project management section of Hectic. (I have a list that I can share via email with the Hectic team)The primary reason I decided to downgrade my subscription is the fact that in its current form, I'm still forced to use other tools alongside Hectic to stay on top of everything. Naturally, that begged the question, "Why am I paying for Hectic if I'm still having to use my old (free) box of tools?"I'm excited to see what the next upgrade will bring to the table for Hectic users. I'm hoping to become a long-term paying customer starting sometime next year.

I was so excited when I was introduced to Hectic. As a freelancer who is *very* early on in their photography and writing career, the concept of creating timelines, contracts, and invoices was super intimidating. Thankfully, when I first created my Hectic account I found it easy, and even exciting to navigate. My husband and I were able to send out our very first proposal to a new client of ours for our photography business. The format made it so easy to create and understand and we received signatures easily. Hectic makes me feel in control and excited to start this new journey. I also love their passion for promoting and encouraging a diverse range of freelancers. Can’t wait to dive into the app even more.

I’m relatively new to the world of freelancing and am not the most organized person. Hectic has helped me keep all of my deadlines, contracts, invoices, and more all in one place. It’s been a game changer! I’m able to focus on what I love doing now instead of draining myself with logistics and administrative tasks!

Hectic is the gateway for me being able to streamline the process of running a business! I own a mobile automotive detailing business as well as a photography and videography freelance business and this has been super helpful and applicable to both of those for managing my clients and creating and completing projects! I have definitely seen an improvement on my deadline meeting requirements as well as my client follow up and interaction. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to streamline and become more efficient with their business
