Hackolade is a visual data modeling platform that allows users to design and publish their NoSQL database schemas. The software enables users to develop their tables, collections, and graphs by defining the attribute or field names, descriptions, types, and constraints using a visual tree diagram representation of the JSON Schema description. Users can keep track of implicit relationships and denormalization in an easy to read entity relationship diagram. One can publish documentation and validation scripts by producing scripts to facilitate development and hence generate human-readable documents in HTML or PDF. Hackolade software enables its users to leverage the power of visual data modeling software and evaluate alternatives and recognize potential hurdles early to reduce rework. The software facilitates data governance by allowing users to compensate for the usual lack of documentation and native referential integrity of NoSQL databases. The data structures do not have to be buried in application code and instead be available to the teams of users for a 360-degree view of the system landscape.
