What do you like best?

It's a great system for my managers and colleagues to coach me on calls. It gives them an opportunity to listen to my calls and provide feedback on how things went. It's especially useful in a work from home environment where I'm not sitting directly with my colleagues and managers.

I appreciate that the calls are recorded and people can leave timestamps on the exact time where they want to provide feedback. Makes it much easier to listen back to a call and see exactly where they want to provide feedback instead of having to dig through the call to find what they were talking about.

What do you dislike?

I haven't really found a good use for it for me personally. I'm barely in Gong myself and using the tools and features.

I haven't had any training on the software nor have I found any promotional emails useful for me to engage more with the software. I'm not keen on watching webinars and stuff to learn about how to use it. I feel that I learn more from trial and error and actually being on calls rather than listening to them and trying to decipher intention.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's a great software for those starting out in a sales role, especially in this new Work From Home environment. I've been in sales a while now and kind of set in my ways but for those new to sales or in a new organization and want to learn more about the sales process/how a particular company sells their product, this is a great tool. Seeing as you aren't in the office next to your colleagues and can hear how they are selling, this tool will be great for you to learn the ropes and get an idea of what you can and should do on your calls as well.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The major problem Gong is solving is the whole work from home environment we are in now and giving the ability for managers and colleagues to continue providing insightful coaching and feedback without being in the office together. It was nice when someone could overhear a call and provide some details or feedback about it but when working at home alone, it's difficult to have that. Goong provides the opportunity for my manager to give me insightful feedback.

I can't be on every call with my team, recording a lot of them gives me time to go back and listen later.

What do you like best?

I enjoy getting to see all my conversations in my email just as soon as they have completed. I am able to go back through the conversations and check on things to make additional notes.

So far I really have not had any issues.

I am able to go back into conversations and take even more in depth notes with things I may have missed or didn't have time to record during it.

What do you like best?

I love the ability to tag teammates in a call and share insights from sales meetings/recordings. It also allows me to be more attentive during a call because I know Gong is recording in the background for me to look back for action items and notes.

What do you dislike?

I honestly don't love all of the email notifications from prospecting calls. I typically schedule out my day to make cold calls all at once, which floods my inbox all at once with 50+ cold calls, half of which were never answered and just clutter my gong recordings for the calls I do care to look at.

We are solving internal communication problems with Gong. Through Gong's tagging ability, we can quickly involve developers and other team members into sales calls, which was not happening before.

False Advertising PromiseTheir Marketing is great and they make great promises, however they also promise that when you enter your Details, that you will find out the prices. Furthermore they actually say, that they will send the Pricing of their Software&Services. But instead I get further marketing emails with links to videos, to educate me about their Product. And asking me to hop on a call, to then finally reveal the pricing structure. I was very disappointed with that, because I wanted to first get an Idea on what to expect in regards to the Prices, before making time to hold a conversation. Because of that, it totally put me off in giving them a try, as I don't like companies that do that false marketing strategy just to get someones details and then try to sell them straight away over the Phone.
