I think this service is cool and I’d really like to add it to my practice. I’ve tried working with these people several times and it’s always a huge ordeal. They’re not focused on serving their customers. The first time I looked at it their sales guy couldn’t show me how it would work. It seemed like he didn’t know how to use the platform. There’s complaints all over social media about the same thing from other accountants. They just tell you to buy the program and go through their training. Apparently it’s so complicated they can’t show this in a screen share? Or maybe it’s too complicated for their sales people to learn properly? I was concerned that it would take a long time to get set up because of the complaints I’ve heard from others — and I’d be paying for a software that wasn’t up and running. Seems like once it is setup the software works well but a lot of people drop out before the software is setup. Now I’m back again trying to test it out and I can’t get an accountant account without having at least 20 clients and paying $350 / mon. They used to offer a smaller starter package. This time when I reached out I’m on a deadline for a customer. I didn’t hear back. They’re all based in the UK and don’t respond to emails quickly even during their business hrs. On top of that the tone was completely unhelpful. Apparently they don’t want my money. It’s sad that they are so out of touch with customers that I have post here to get real help.

Futrli is a good product but the numbers taken from Xero is incorrect thus it will give a false prediction. Very unresponsive customer support with support email is not replied for more than 3 weeks (Email sent 19.03.21). I am still waiting on reply as at 15.04.21.

Futrli is a really clever way of using your accounting data to help you plan for the future and report to your clients in a snazzy and informative way how their business is performing. My account manager is brilliant and very supportive.

Postives: Overall, I've found Futrli's product to big a huge help. I had been looking to add an analytics platform for about five months, and had looks at everything from Looker (~$60k/year), to Tableu, and Microsoft BI (starting at $10/month). All of these platforms would have required a significant learning curve and a custom build out. When I came across Futrli, it seems like a great way to add the beautiful dashboards that I wanted, but with a drag/drop feature that would dramatically speed up the creation of my dashboards. The ability to add unlimited users, as well as create custom reports was a huge help! I'd suggest anyone who is in a similar position to give Futrli a long look.Negatives: There is no Quickbooks Desktop integration and the instructions for importing transactions from a spreadsheet via CSV does not translate to Quickbooks Desktop. I had to manually create my own spreadsheet, which involved exporting multiple trial balances from QBD and then adding formulas/additional tabs in order to create a CSV that would comply with Futrli's import procedures. If a majority of your client's are on QBD, I would not recommend Futrli. It was a disappointing that I had to find this on my own after purchase.They also do not currently integrate with GoogleSheets (they should remove the GoogleSheets icon from their homepage). This is an issue bc I have a lot of data via Zapier that syncs my client's e-comm sales in into GoogleSheets in real-time. I'd love to be able to import this data onto a dashboard to give my client's a robust, real-time feel for their data, and hopefully they'll add this in the future.Summary: Futrli is a 8/10 product. I still use it regularly and it helps my business have a more polished feel. They have recently secured a new round of funding, so it's my belief that they'll continue to polish their already great product into an even more dynamic platform.Andrew (on-boarding technical specialist) was also a huge help when it came to understanding their product. 10/10 for customer service.
