What do you like best?

There is so much data and information that comes with this tool. You can write just about any campaign into code and have it show up on your static website.

What do you dislike?

The UX isn't great, campaign set up isn't very intuitive. Hard to build anything without code. Customer service is aggressive and makes it harder to engage.

What do you dislike?

Not enough support or services to optimize campaigns/tools. Too expensive for what we were getting. They bought out our previous provider and in that process we lost the "management" part of the service. When we asked for it, we were asked to pay substantially more for a service that wasn't covering the expense to begin with.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

None, data showed very few people clicked on their product recommendations and purchased the item.

What do you like best?

I love the IDEA of Evergage. And there is so much I'd like to try out and test. We implemented an opt-in pop-up on our blog and increased our newsletter sign-ups tremendously. Our product team is using it on the product side to much success, but we have struggled to get this going on the Marketing side.

What do you dislike?

We were told that it "easily integrates with Marketo (our marketing automation platform. This was not the case for us. It took 3 meetings, including one with a developer, to get the pop-up on our Blog to work properly with Marketo. And if could absolutely not replicate this myself if I ever wanted to get another form working elsewhere. For us, most of the value comes from this important integration- as we already have worked many years to get a large, known database of cookies users through Marketo. So, to have to start over and re-cookie everyone again in Evergage is just not an option. So, sadly we haven't done much with it as of yet...

I also felt like we weren't given much help or guidance throughout onboarding and deployment. As a provider of a software platform ourselves, we are constantly looking at new customer adoption. Are they using the product? Have they set up what they needed to? And we proactively reach out to make sure this gets done. I didn't feel like we had this support from Evergage. We have done nothing but set-up one opt-in pop up on our blog (which was extremely time-consuming, and noone ever reached out to try to help us get more use out of the product.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I see the potential for this product! I know it could be SO great for our marketing team. We have just struggled with getting it set up due to integration problems and lack of guidance. But we haven't given up! We are going to reach out and re-engage with them and try to get more use out of it. I know there is potential for tremendous benefits.

None as of yet! Just a pop-up on our blog to get more opt-ins.

What do you like best?

We've had great customer service. I like the flexibility of the Evergage team and willingness to adopt the product for our business needs. We started using the product for one of the e-commerce sides of our business and seen a good lift from the product. Need to be able to push further, but are resource constrained on our side. Hoping to rectify that soon.

What do you dislike?

System can be challenging to learn and have restrictions around how and where we can deploy recipes. The system is built for e-commerce so there need to be more flexible features when dealing with different business initiatives, which evergage has been open to hearing product ideas and enhancements about. There are also some challenges in understanding the attribution funnels, but I think this will get easier with more use of the system.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Increasing loyalty and engagement in the publishing side of our business. How do we recognize a users behavior or intent and serve them messaging or content to increase their User Experience. Also helpful in bridging the gap between our subscription products and publishing products. How do we increase both explicit revenue (buy a physical product and implicit revenue (visiting an advertising supported areas of our consumer sites.
