There is so much data to deal with in the healthcare industry and Epic is doing a wonderful job in organizing it. It is reliable even though it crashes a lot.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It would be great if there are extensive documentation and interactive learning resources so that it is easier for users to get around the system.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

My research is being helped by the ability of Epic to verify patients' health records.

I learned how to maximize the software as soon as I encountered it when I first started working at a hospital.

The software crashes from time to time and this causes interruptions in my work.

Checking patients' medical data is seamless using Epic. It helps make sure that tests and procedures are in order and that there are no duplicate requests for exams.

The best feature of Epic is its connectedness because it makes information about patients from other facilities accessible. It is also great to see data aside from basic contact info like the medical plans of patients.

It takes to much time to learn how to maximize it.

I am benefiting from Epic because it lets me connect with other patient care providers. The fact that it lets me view patients' medical histories is also a plus. It is also helpful in keeping track of patients' vital signs.

Epic saves us time by integrating with other software that we use for patient administration.

It takes too many clicks to find the option or the window we need. It is hard to manage and share the mailbox too.

Information sharing between medical facilities and healthcare providers is eased by Epic. It makes it easier for us to handle prescriptions and medical orders too.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Epic streamlines communication between healthcare facilities. And through its integration capability, it can provide comprehensive reports. I like how easy it is to organize too because it lets me customize the arrangement of elements on the interface.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

At first, it is difficult to navigate and do things you need to do. But as you continue using it, you get the hang of it and find your way maximizing each function. Other than that, the window resizing and searching for old lab values can be bothersome.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Epic is making my patient care streamlined.
