What do you like best?
Eclipse is a very good and easy to use tool. While coding in any language, its really better to use a editor like Eclipse. This tool help in improving syntax wise as well as help us in suggesting class members or parameters.
What do you dislike?
There is nothing that i don't like this tool, just sometime creating project make issues.

we use eclipse as code editor while accessing our code for implementation and writing code.
What do you like best?
The plugin feature and market place to add outside available tools and technologies is a great feature. User can take advantage of it without worrying about extra installation and steps involved in it.
What do you dislike?
Eclipse has issues while working on multiple projects. Performance of the IDE itself lags while there are many projects open. Every time eclipse opens up, it takes time to initialize and user has to wait until this operation is finished.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use eclipse if you need to build enterprise applications with ease of use and ensuring project dependencies, package management is set correctly for your projects.

Building J2EE Application is been a great problem solver by Eclipse. Importing libraries or external jar(s) is been a awesome benefits for me
What do you like best?
I use eclipse to automate my manual test scripts which is very useful for me as itis efficient and secure. It reduce my workload as a batch of test script i can run.
What do you dislike?
There is no such thing as dislike about eclipse but yes expecting a lot more features in the near future.

It is very useful application in terms of automation . I will highly recommend this application as it reduces workload and also saves time and money.

I with my team are using eclipse from a good amount of time. Basically we automate our manual test scripts which is very useful for me as itis efficient and secure. It reduce my workload as a batch of test script i can run
What do you like best?
Eclipse is free to use with a simple download and easy to setup and get going right away. This download environment is open source and collaborative - allowing the users who actually spend time using it to make improvements and get things right. It is streamlined and fast without the overhead of some of your other IDEs. The documentation is full featured on the eclipse.org website and it allows easy integration with Git repositories and GitHub. Color coding, intelli-sense, a huge variety of plug-ins, and continued investment into the product by the community sets this product above others. The wide variety of languages supported is also a plus.
What do you dislike?
There is not much to dislike about Eclipse. While it may not be as full featured as some of the other development environments out there, that lends itself to a fast and snappy product. Depending on your specific need and coding structures , your development team etc... this can be pros or cons. The debugging features could probably be a little more friendly and the documentation site for eclipse while full of useful information could be more user friendly itself.

know the extent you need code mangement, version control, and integration with other platforms

Eclipse allows my developer team to use a free and lightweight tool without the cost of licensing. While some developers need the more feature rich aspects of other IDE's on my team, a good portion only need a quick editing tool that can get the job done and give them a pleasant development experience. For editing work projects requiring PHP I have found Eclipse to be a quick and easy tool with intuitive interface.
What do you like best?
I like the code suggestions and the a wide variety for the usage of third party and in-build plugins.
What do you dislike?
That it can't be used for developing mobiles applications.
