What do you like best?
A perfect erp with limited feature to support small industries supply chain, finance and inventroy management.
Order management and invoicing with approvals provides more controllability and flexibility in business.
User and role management with defined authorization is awesome feature for controlling and security tacts.
What do you dislike?
Limited business features, some critical bugs found in erp, manufavturing module is not mature, so its not good for efficent supply chain.
Mobile support is not available.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
In trading and projects we controlled and monitered inventroy, costing, profitiability respect to sale purchase and expense.
Used in accounts management, to check and set back the payable, recieveabale and other financial parameters of finance statement.
What do you like best?
Easier in installation, customization is much easier, open source to devolp further. Mostly business modules are available, dashboard based graphics, pending, payable, recieveable invoice on dashboard screen with effective presentaion. Same vendors, customers are catagorically displayed according to thier business volume. Role assigment is clearly defined for individual user to perform a specific task, notification management is a plus point. Which alerts, alarms you business and transactional events.
Accounts, finance and inventory module are best for small industry and trade.
What do you dislike?
Mobile support is not available, many bugs found in inventroy, finance and manufacturing module. Devolpment documentation is not available, not good for large business or devolping business because its is not full functional and featured with all business scenarios.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Used in start of business to handel trade business of 400 SKU, traced, tracked inventroy. Maintain record of expenses, calculation of profitiability. Used double entry system, managed accounts and balances.

What do you like best?
Easier and quicker installation, which can be also installed with your existing ERP, with Apache PHP, and mysql server, customization can be made in forms, reports and transactional logics, any how some very precise and accurate business objects and programmed accordingly, which helps in business by just configure them according to business need, most of the modules are available and configured, Purchasing orders, sale order, Finance, inventory, replenishments, projects, accounts, expenses are predefined with business processes.
What do you dislike?
Some bugs are found while recording in transactions of finance, and expenses, same poor view of inventory stocks, manufacturing module is not maturely defined.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Fit for small business cycles, where trading, sale, purchase and expensed are recorded generally hence report of margins with respect date can be obtained, Profitability can be concluded with no depths and insights of expenses occurred, Not recommended for large and 4th tiers bases manufacturing, as the many logics in manufacturing are still underdevelopment or immature.
What do you like best?
Dolibarr is fast and easy to start to use. If you don't want to do alot of personalization, the setup on a server, basic configuration etc is less than 2hrs. It's a good answer for simple and basic needs out of the box and enables you to produce professional looking invoices and to manage your customer / prospect work.
What do you dislike?
It's impossible to interface third party tools (without expensive developpments) ; no inbuild email, and awful agenda function. Thats bad i must agree so it means for me that these two features are third party tools for me...
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't expect all functionalities. Missing : Email, Agenda (well there is one but honnestly... let's say there is none). With 100€ or so you can purchase additional modules (letters etc) it's perfect. With 300€ more email and better agenda integration and you have a full working suit. Dont expect 'fully free", but these addons are a must (really). Also if you are not confortable to manipulate to a medium user level your server and php files, expect to hire someone for the setup and configuration, it will save you a HUGE amount of time.

I needed a tool to manage my customer / prospect work and i also like professional looking invoices, offers and letters. Dolibarr is a good answer to these points (and i tried a lot of different ones)
What do you like best?
Since 2 years i m working withis this erp (in the past i had a french software). What i love is, they work modules you have to enable / disable according to your needs
