What do you like best?
I like that it is totally and individually programmable.
What do you dislike?
It’s confusing to learn with too many steps.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Benefits are that everyone in my company can be working on separate projects and bill each of those project accordingly for time worked. This has made the process of working with many different companies more efficient and streamlined than it has been in the past.
What do you like best?
The interface is easy to use, and it shows up well on mobile devices!
What do you dislike?
This might be an organizational error, but every timesheet comes pre-populated with a "holiday" hours line, even when there was no paid holiday. We have to go back and delete the line before we can continue process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It appears that DATABASICS is one of the leaders in the timesheet field, and it's working well for our organization of 275 people. I'm not an expert on time management systems, but I would definitely consider DATABASICS as a contender when making timekeeping decisions for your organization!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Provides us the opportunity to use many different account codes (some of our departments run on grants, so attributing hours to each funding source is important for our organization.
What do you like best?
It's easy to use and straightforward for the most part. DATABASICS has the ability to set up different codes needed (Sick time, on call). With over 700 employees, we are able to extract time logged (and approved) into a spreadsheet without having to manually calculate.
What do you dislike?
DATABASICS doesn't recognize overnight shifts (when applicable). My employees have a hard time entering their time when they have an overnight shift. Uploading new hires is tedious, and kind of a pain. There isn't an easy way to add a new employee without having to upload all the data necessary through an FTP.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It helps my team record time for over 700 employees--this includes double time hours, sick time, etc.
What do you like best?
The appli a allowed a better way to track employees time however it still needs more improvement

Not tracking time between different locations for same company for employees whom work for multiple locations

The application allowed us to export the data to calculate productive time vs non productive
What do you like best?
I like, best, the ability to save my timesheet tasks from one week and transfer over to the next week. I find that they also do a good job breaking the jobs and tasks down in an easy to understand manner.
What do you dislike?
I like least, the constant warnings that it gives when I try to submit my timesheet. I find this cubersome and not worthwhile as, often times, I will have a template saved with certain jobs that I may not have done any work in the current timesheet period.

It is useful if your company needs a new timesheet platform.

Time sheets usage. This has been a more useful platform than the last timesheet we had.
