What do you like best?

the idea of being able to leverage artificial intelligence to interact with our customers in an automated fashion.

What do you dislike?

we have received multiple complaints from our employees and customers with regards to the responses that conversica provides on our behalf. very seldom is there a positive interaction, as the robot is unable to establish a genuine connection with human customers.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

conversica billing support is not great. they also interpret the contract terms heavily to their benefit and will not offer assistance when wanting to cancel. they instead continue to insist we use their flawed software and spam our employees with unrequested reports to help justify their expense and existence.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

we were hoping to take the follow up burden off of our sales staff. what we found was that we were providing a busted crutch instead of something that added value to our staff or our processes.

What do you like best?

The product is interesting and works well. Easy to use and great results. but the back end of stuff just isn't worth the time

What do you dislike?

There in-house processes like accounting are poor. They have forgotten to bill me, charged my credit card with no warning, forgotten to invoice me and charged my card. And the follow up is terrible. This has turned someone who was an evangelist for their company into someone who would never recommend it, even with the product being good. The rest of the stuff really makes it too hard to deal with this company

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Dealing with the accounting issues made this to difficult to deal with. Three times over a year I had to get into the weeds to get this resolved. They saw no problem with charging my credit card before invoicing me.

What do you like best?

I like the fact that our reps receive already qualified/warm leads and don't have to start from the very beginning on attempted reach-outs.

What do you dislike?

I don't like the limited customization options that each email has. We have to email our Conversica rep each time before we start a conversation so we can change certain fields in the email.

Our reps are spending less time leaving voicemails and sending unanswered emails to clients.

What do you like best?

I like its ability to process natural language and read the responses we get. I also like that the system's responses have enough variation that it seems like a real person instead of a robot assistant.

What do you dislike?

We really disliked that we had to have someone authorize the use of our brand name (which is a .com) every time we wanted to include it in a message. This really slowed us down in developing new content. We also didn't like that some of the variable combinations were inflexible, or that we could only use one verb (e.g. attended, registered for) at a time. In many instances we had groups that did one or both.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This is best for larger enterprise. We only have a finite number of real estate agents we can sell to, so even if we kept the product, we would likely run out of contacts.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The problems we were trying to solve were in reengaging aged leads. We wanted to try Conversica to see if we could follow up with aged leads and not have to add staff or hours to this project. This worked for us, and we were able to close some deals, but ultimately, we did not have the lead flow to make this work.

What do you like best?

Depending on how the prospect responds, it can uncover some potentially lost hot leads. This gives the rep a really specific and easy reason to call and close business.

What do you dislike?

Some of the responses listed as "hot" were not and tends to skew numbers for the reps. Also, some people really felt a connection with the "fake" rep and got upset when they couldn't talk to them.

I really like that it uncovered some "hidden" sales opps with prospects who have been in the system for awhile.
