It's a robust system with plenty of tools to streamline your operation. For instance, consolidating individual item costs and linking them to the menu board of the POS, allowing for automated costing. I also find it helpful generating more accurate reports on accounts payables and other management reports.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It requires a bit of training especially for those who are not familiar with POS and inventory systems. There's always a risk that somebody might enter a wrong item or figure and that'll mess up costing.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We were able to consolidate costing of our wide array of menu items. We regularly update our recipes so the software speeds up the process of recalculations. Our branches are also always in sync with our main database.

It's easy to follow the interface plus the key tools are readily accessible. Wherever I am in the system I can quickly check orders and supplies to warn me of potential issues before they occur.

You will need patience and time to get the hang of the system. But once you go past training, you'll find the design intuitive to your needs. Inventory management systems are mostly complex solutions.

We achieved the right balance between orders and supplies and we could clearly identify the peaks and lows so we're more prepared. It also translates to cost-saving by way of less variance.

There must be a simpler way to allow staff members to see each other's schedule. Maybe an overview of the entire staff schedule?
