I used to love a lot of things about cloudapp nowadays it's hard to think about even one! :( very disappointed

I have never felt so disappointed from any other service like cloudapp!

I have never felt so disappointed from a service that sued to work so well and over the years they just managed to make it the worst files sharing service ever!!!

I'm a pro user that paying for pro features, nothing is working the app got worst than ever!

Just a waste of time and money!

Beware!

1. It used to be very easy to see how many times people viewed your drop, Now with the new version you just can't!

2. The new mac app it big and no compact like it used to be!

3, MY Mac app always crashing

4. With the new version, you cant see when you have uploaded the file! Only God knows why to removed this feature!

Hi there, thanks so much for the feedback! Sorry that we haven't been able to meet your expectations. Just wanted to share a few updates for you:

1. The 'Drop View' functionality will be back in the next few weeks!

2. We are evaluating a 'compact' version of the new CloudApp. We'd love to hear your feedback on exactly what you'd like to see and what's missing.

3. We have a mobile app for iOS that we expect to launch at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020. If you'd be open to testing it, please email us at support@getcloudapp.com

Cloudapp was really the best utility I used by far. It was easy to take screenshots / screencasts etc. and share it.

This year (2019) there was an update with new GUI and some other new functionalites. However with this update many functionalities got lost. So for me it is not usable any more in the new version as all functionalities that saved me time are now gone:

- direct access to many functionalities at each drop (without opening it) has disappeared, now only 3 functionalities are left and those are not the one that you would use regularely.

- there were many sorting options in the old version so that you could find your drops easily - gone in the new version

- really good search functionality in the old version - no search functionality any more (this is really a no-go)

...etc.

For the 'sorting options', we are thinking that you mean on the 'web app/website' version of CloudApp? Those will be back soon! We're just rebuilding the UI to look nicer at the moment with some improvements.

For the 'search' functionality, we found that users in our previous system were very unhappy with the implementation. So we are planning to re-add this functionality so that you can search directly in the app (vs searching from desktop and bouncing to the web).

You can record video/gifts. Other tools I've seen don't do that

It's difficult to quickly screenshot from various screens and quickly paste where you want it. When I screenshot and want to take another one, seems like i have to close out entirely and reopen to get back to where i can capture again
