What do you like best?
Visibility across our customer base on who's most important to us, who's coming up for renewal, and who's happy or not happy.

Issues with feature limitations, some bugs, and billing problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implementing any system like this requires an internal commitment, and executive sponsorship. Your customer data is never as clean as you think, and there will be work involved in getting it loaded. Persevere since the payoff is worth the effort.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
When we transitioned from permanent licenses + annual support to a subscription license and pricing model, this drew attention to renewals and churn, and on how much we really knew about how customers were doing, a few months after a sale. With new hires of dedicated customer success managers, who used ClientSuccess, we've been able to significantly raise retention / lower churn.
What do you like best?
The UI is the best part of the software. It is super easy to use and easy to track engagements.
What do you dislike?
There is no messaging feature, to-do's are cluttered and hard to manage, and the parent child relationship for accounts is a mess. The API is very weak and not able to handle a lot of customers. It takes forever to load our client list and seems to struggle to do very basic updates. Even though it's easy to make the edit in the UI it takes forever to load and update so that's just annoying.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a lot of customers you are working with this is probably not the best option to go with. You need to look for a software that you can have campaign options that go hand in hand with tracking.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Account management - tracking the history of a customer and their interaction/pulse with the product they are using. We are setting up a game plan or success cycle for clients and then following through with those actions.
What do you like best?
I like how I can get an overview or all my clients, and also have a handle on where they are in our CS cycle.
What do you dislike?
It'd be great if you could map clients' locations, so it'd be helpful when planning onsite visits.

Working on maintaining relationships, manage each account effectively, and remember the details

It's great to get a view into everyone's clients. I have people report into me and I can easily see what clients they own

The reporting is weak and subjective. It's up to the CSMs to give a pulse on the client which you can't always trust. Also, being able to take action and set up reminders is not something I've used, mostly because it's not obvious how to use it

Managing our clients and assigning who owns which accounts. An easy way to assign accounts and track email communication between them
