We had used Campaigner by Protus for about 2 years and decided to prepay for a year to receive an 18% discount. We prepaid $2,952 in January 2019 but starting the next month we had significant delivery issues with Gmail blocking delivery and overall open rates in the low single digits. We had reached out to our account rep and tech support numerous times to discuss the issues. On three separate work arounds we completed their recommendations and followed-up with subsequent blasts but continued to have delivery issues and very low open rates. We contacted Campaigner and asked for refund for the unused months and they denied the request because under the prepaid contract there are no refunds. As a result, we reversed the charge and they immediately blocked the account, they then disputed the charge and still have not reopen our account or contacted us. Knowing this I would just warn others to not subscribe to their larger plans, stay month-to-month and expect the service to deteriorate over time. It would take about 5-7 days for tech support to respond to emails.

You are forced to enter payment details for trial and you cancel you must phone. You cannot cancel via the platform.

Carlos, here below replied that a resolution has been provided but I can confirm that so far Carlos and every person I dealing with in this company hasn’t found any solution. They are sending wrong invoices, not sending amended ones, accounts totally wrong and after 4 months dealing with them and constantly sending emails, NO REFUND has been sent!Very unprofessional Service.I am customer for few years now, always paid my billing in advance for a very expensive plan. In their website customer are able to do the upgrade but there is not the option to do the downgrade. Due the COVID19, in March, I asked to downgrade my account as my business stopped. Nobody replied for one month since someone called Colin did it. He said that he was working on the downgrade and proposed me the plan that I accepted. It never happened. In April I was charged even more than the usual plan, in May I was charged TWICE!!! I amending many emails asking for about 450$ of refund and they are rolling around, nobody replies at my email and when they reply is just to take joke saying that they are working on it but nothing is changing. It's ridiculous. Stay far from those cheating company.

First: you are required to input credit card details for trial. You cant cancel the trial except you call. When you call, it takes forever to answer. You get charged and you cant even use the service until you contact customer care (which on their website is 24/7 but in reality, is never there) which is never there and even when they answer, the empathy is so pathetic. You need to contact customer care to explain how you intend to use the service before they can allow you use the service, for which they already charged you for. You get your account closed but no refund for not being able t use the service. This is the greatest internet scam of all time!

This company sends emails through a separate domain - pretty sure that I'm not allowed to include that, so I won't.1. The emails include a link to the sending domain to unsubscribe from the emails. When I clicked on the link, Malwarebytes warned me that the site was dangerous - apparently the website is redirecting users to malvertising resources - so it's not possible to unsubscribe.2. When I report the emails as spam using SpamCop, SpamCop says that the site refuses to take reports. Why would you do that if you were running a legitimate service?
