What do you like best?
Absolutely nothing. This is quite possible the worst email provider we've used in over 15 years of sending email.
What do you dislike?
We have been using various email providers for nearly 15 years and in my professional opinion, Campaign Monitor is the absolute worst, hands down. Their support is absolutely terrible and their inboxing rate is some of the worst we have ever experienced. Even after domain verification the percentage of unopened emails that are not showing as bounced is higher than we have ever experienced. I would not put this company in the top 100 or top 1000 email providers. Absolute GARBAGE.

What do you like best?
I don't. I've been using it for 4 months, and it takes hours to get an email right. I'm migrating my entire business to mailchimp. I've used mailchimp extensively in the past and I can confidently say it's a better product for what we're doing.
What do you dislike?
Won't integrate well with shopify segments to trigger auto journeys. Super buggy and won't do simple things like change font colors, or resize images well for mobile. Saving templates and versions is almost non existent. I've lost several versions. Overall this has been a very poor experience, and I'm tired of wasting my time.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We're using this to support email marketing for brands on both shopify and expression engine/cartthrob.
What do you like best?
Nothing much to like. It seems easy to use and has drag and drop features, but all of that doesn't matter if it is full of glitches, loses your work and sent campaigns, and does not perform as advertised.
What do you dislike?
After sending out my newsletter I saw that the mobile view shows on my desktop computer, so it does not self-adjust depending on the screen, as advertised. Also, I duplicated my sent campaign to use as a starting point for my next one and ALL OF MY WORK WAS GONE. What I was seeing was the original boilerplate template that they provided. So now I have lost the original newsletter. At this point, I am deleting my account and looking elsewhere.

Look elsewhere. There are so many glitches and high probability of lost work.

It's very easy to view lists and import lists.
What do you dislike?
It's difficult to customize eblasts because there aren't very many options.

Not a lot - their customer service is terrible and I would discourage people to go elsewhere

Poor Customer Service
Escalated to Head of Customer Service - obviously the poison starts at the top of the Ivory Tower.
Dodgy billing practice
I made a complaint about billing and they even billed me two days after my complaint - then offered to refund that and expected me to be happy!
How they have a rating this high surprises me as my experience has been terrible.
Remember this is now a highly competitive environment with lots of choice - my advice, DO NOT CHOOSE CAMPAIGN MONITOR!
