I'd stay away from Buildfire. I signed up for what I thought was a one month subscription to try it out before committing to it. When I got the confirmation e-mail I saw that it defaulted to a full year subscription. I contacted Buildfire to rectify the error and after multiple exchanges they only refunded 1/2 of my money and said I'd get the remainder if I decided to cancel before 6 months. I did cancel after 1 month (reasons below which probably more directly answer your question) and after 2 months hadn't received the refund. After several days I was informed I wouldn't be getting a refund. If they need my $265 I'd question their long term viability.My reasons for cancelling are similar to Wizard's comments. If you have a simple app that renders content it might be the way to go. If you're building an interactive app you'll end up coding most of the app anyway. They tout the SDK as a means to extend functionality but I found it extremely clunky. When I uploaded the HTML, JavaScript and CSS for one page, the functionality that was working in Chrome wasn't working in Buildfire. Nor could I figure out where the problems were. Also, my app is currently multi-page and I couldn't figure out to navigate between pages. Multiple forums pointed to their documentation which is not very good and there was a step one developer pointed out that isn't in their doc. Never could get it to work.Also, they say they support Bootstrap but as of 3 months ago it was a version several iterations back. I'd developed the app with Bootstrap 4 so I'd have to convert anything that wasn't backwards compatible.All in all a very bad experience.

It was going SO well at the start - Buildfire was a great app - but it FALSE ADVERTISED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It said that it was a FREE app, but then when we finished it - it turns out that we had to pay and also i kept getting random messages from Ian and what not! You also couldn't move images and once again the pricing for the app to be built was utterly OUTRAGEOUS!!! But otherwise it was great - would recommend if you want to spend your moola.

Worst experience I have ever had with a company. Have had the app for over a year, hasn't worked one day. Sadly, many people in our community depend on it. There is ZERO customer service, no phone number, and emails take days to respond. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I highly appreciate the support team of Buildfire, they have done a great job by supporting me throughout my process of build my app.Keep it up with the good work.
