What do you like best?
Boomset is a complete software that follows you from beginning to end. You don't need additional software to do your lead retrieval or badge printing.
What do you dislike?
Boomset seems to have a lot of little fixes to make its software strong. We had huge issues with API calls which gave us a headache during our shows. They did manage to fix most of them, but still, the damage was done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It does the job. Just make sure to ask all the critical questions/needs your company might have.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We don't need to use a third-party for our lead retrieval or badge printing!
What do you like best?
Boomset's kiosk mode is seamless and great for both on site registration and self-service sign in.
What do you dislike?
We did not have the smoothest communication with Boomset's customer service team the first time we worked with them. However, they seemed to have remedied that and have regained our trust.

Event efficiency
What do you like best?
It's a comprehensive event management platform that is easy to use to manage and check-in guests, collection registration and leads, and set-up sessions.
What do you dislike?
It's a bit costly if you are only using some of the features of the site. It would be nice to have pricing based on different modules rather than number of guests. We also had one event where the manual check-in process of the software went down which caused substantial problems. The company was not responsive in follow-up and did not offer any time of reimbursement or credit for the technical issue.

Evaluate what your main needs are in a event management software. It's a great platform if you have a substantial event but there is probably cheaper alternatives if you have basic needs.

Our check-in process has been streamlined greatly allowing shorter wait times and improved data capturing to create detailed reports after the event.

What do you like best?
I appreciate how easy it is to have my guest list imported, how easy it is to set rules for my attendees checking in to my event, finished product looks amazing!
What do you dislike?
I think the hardest thing is the actual designing of the badge. You have to play around with it on the spot with the hardware to get it right, and at that point you've wasted badges.

I save so much time using Boomset - I could not imagine doing an event without this tool!
