The important aruba switch devices are taken backup using Backbox tool

Great Backup tool and can be recovered during Disaster Recovery.

Does not support all new features in Next Generation Cisco FTD firewall.

We are using it for Disaster Recovery Backup and compare configs between primary and secondary such as static routes, NAT, etc.
What do you like best?
Backbox is compatible with a very large number of brands and devices which allow us to backup everything as network/security devices.
We appreciate the possibility to use authentication template which avoid typing username / password for each device each time we change the password.
What do you dislike?
The fact that to fetch a backup, you need to go on the "Device History" tab on the Device which is not so logical

There are not so many tools on the market. If you are looking for a tool where you can backup almost everything, Backbox will be a good choice.

Very powerful the scripting capabilities. I also very appreciate the possibilities to make backups

Not so user friendly the possibility to create new scripts
