What do you like best?
They are able to inbox quite well. Not sure what else they have going for them
What do you dislike?
1. The system would have been considered dated back in the 90's. Its really bad with several bugs.
2. They will disable your account with no good reason. I had my account for well over a year and all open rates, click rates etc etc where the industry standard. My spam complaints were near 0 and well below the 1 out of 1000 the industry considers standard. My account was closed by Josh S with the (invalid reasons of CANSPAM violations and not unsubscribing. Most of my emails had been reviewed by a lawyer so they were infact CANSPAM compliant. Secondly most unsubs would use awebers unsubscribe link and the few that didn't I would remove well before the 10 day limit. Most within 1-2 days. I reached out to Josh for more information twice and he (quite rudely ignored my emails. I then in a desperate attempt to get a competent (What was I thinking??? person at Aweber I reached out to John Walder via my person gmail incase my emails were going to their spam. I doubted it but I was desperate. After several followups to him it became clear the the incompetence was a cultural thing with Aweber as he also flat out ignored all my emails.
Remember when you pick a ESP to use to factor this in. It is not just how well their inbox or how good their system is. You're putting your business in the hands of people who probably should not be making decisions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fix your culture! If John and Josh were really doing as they were supposed to do you have a severe cultural issue. It never be ok ignore a long term client.

It was ok while it lasted
I'm sure that they're great as an email service, but I'm a little frustrated that they billed me a second month even though I requested to have it cancelled and never used the service.
What do you like best?
I like that you can select different lists to send one email too, whereas in MailChimp, you have to duplicate each campaign if you want to send to multiple lists. It also integrates with just about every other software out there so that is helpful. Automation is easy to set up.
What do you dislike?
I hate the design options for the emails, they are very outdated. It's all about the design for me and what the emails look like when you open them and Aweber does not cut it for me.

Automation and email campaigns.
These people spammed me. They bought my email in an illegal database sold by an illegal (unlicensed seller, which makes a weber illegal too; someone I would NEVER do business with as they apparently have no ethics nor legality.
Deceitful pricing on their order page. The order page shows a discount for quarterly and annual pricing, but it does not show the hidden monthly fee for the email subscriber list storage. It doesn't matter which amount of subscribers you choose on the pricing page, the order page will show you the pricing for only their 'email marketing & analytics' which doesn't include the hidden monthly fee.
