HORRIBLE for landlordsThey allow your tenants to scam you, but they won't help you. Too many options for the tenants to play games with you. Tenants can schedule rent with a credit card, it will take 15 days for the actual money to reach your account and after that tenants can cancel their rent payments and take their money back. Avail doesn't allow landlords to report to tenants to credit reporting agencies. Tenants can skip payments. Tenants can skip late payment fees. Landlord won't get money, but still, their site will show status as paid. Avail does not help the landlord to block a bad tenant from miss-using the credit card option. Their support is not helpful. This avail rent payment site is definitely created by some crooks designed to support bad tenants.
Plenty of websites ask for my routing number and check number to pay by bank. Websites I trust like mortgage payments. Avail ACTUALLY ASKED FOR MY BANK LOGIN AND PASSWORD. NO FRICKIN' WAY!!!My option, pay by credit card which levees a huge 3.5% fee. Tack that onto to your rent! That's $35 for every $1000 paid!!!This app sucks, don't put this horrible app onto your tenants.
They charged 15.00 to my tenant because her bank account number was missing a digit. I asked them to please refund her money and they denied my request. My advice, look elsewhere. There are many other options that are much better. Zillow, etc...
I signed up for Avail and installed 10 properties that I own, And I just finished listing the first property, and the listing was approved, a few hours later received another email saying it’s fraudulent. What kind of scam is this so called company running, I have removed all 10 listing from this company website and will not be using the software. This software will waste your time and effort in trying to list your properties, Run from this so called DIY landlord software, as it is a joke, and will just waste your time, and when you try and call them, you have to leave a voice mail, I also emailed them without a response, SCAMGeorge Wayne TustinCEO3 Palms Investing Company, LLC
What do you like best?
I have been a tenant on the Avail site for 1.5 years and it has made the renting process seamless. I have my renter profile online with my reports (credit score) along with my digital lease and online rent payments. I have setup autopay so I never have to worry about rent or it being late. Everything is made easy for me! I used to slide checks under the door for my landlord - finally a better solution to old problems!
What do you dislike?
I don't have any requests. This works just fine as a tenant.
