I liked the idea of being able to build an app I could populate via Google Forms.

It did however seem to lack flavor when it came to customizing

Run some demos before jumping in with your live database

Work-around solution to provide a mobile app solution

I like that it is an easy to follow app creating app. We have used it in many ways, which includes time logs, and image logs, like that of sending people into the field to get exact locations for us and what these sites look like while they are there. It is easy to create your own questions and an easy way to have people answer questions on their phone.

It gets a little hard if people aren't constantly updating and saving their logs. If they don't do that when necessary, it makes it a little convoluted.

It is a great builder beginning program. We use it for those who need something really simple. It is good for what we use it for. We havent dealt too deep into it yet, so I could also be missing a lot of what it has to offer also.

We use it mostly for time clocks. We also use it to get questions answered in specific locations, that way people do not forget to log the information and try to remember it later on. It makes it a little easier to get correct information especially when visiting multiple locations in the day.

It provides a great tool for checking out and checking in rental vehicles and ensuring that every detail is covered. It won't allow a renter to exit the procedure without answering all of the required answers. It allows for pictures so that I always have before and after shots which protects my company and the renter. I can use it for multiple purposes outside of check-out/check-ins as well to keep quality control on procedures and make sure that all of my fleet is cared for and maintained in accordance with procedures.

It could be difficult for someone not so great with spreadsheets. I have to handle the input, output, data changes, etc. myself. I have a small business, but fast paced so I like to leave my apps prepopulated for efficiency and I don't have anybody else on staff that can do it.

The more knowledgeable in excel or google sheets you are and the logic and formulas therein, the more in depth the app you can have. It's great software and most of the templates are probably VERY user friendly. I just happen to use mine at level that requires a good knowledge of spreadsheets.

Reducing costs/expenses for damages not reported or found due to poor check in/check out procedures. This results in higher net profits. This also ensures that all of my vehicles are repaired and that the responsible party takes care of the expenses whether that is the renter or my company. Since the units are all consigned, it also ensures that all owners that their vehicles will always be returned to the condition in which they originally brought it to me. In short, quality control, safer equipment, happier owners, and happier renters are the end result.

You can create apps without any coding knowledge. I have an existing database with GoogleSheet. I create an AppSheet app for my employee to view or make changes to the data in my spreadsheet. It is a simple process without coding and can be deployed instantly

The app I created must be run using the safari link to redirect to AppSheet app on iPhone. So your users have to run an address via Safari first to be redirected. Well, this is not a big deal though. I and my users still really enjoy using it.

I would highly recommend it to small biz owners especially if you already have your own database and want it to be accessible on an iPhone app but you don't know how to create one with the coding and stuffs

I have product stock list on GoogleSheet and have multiple users. When you have over a thousand row, it is impossible to collaborate using GoogleSheet App in iPhone. I use this AppSheet to create an app for them to view and edit on the spreadsheet easier on-by-on entry via their smartphone.
