My favorite feature is the comparison tool. When multiple pieces of artwork are loaded up, the tool allows for a side-by-side comparison that automatically scrolls across when dragged by the mouse. You can also use to tool to "compare" two pieces of art. Using the compare feature, the two pieces are artwork are compared and differences between them are depicted in red on the right-hand side. Another great option here is the toggle feature that quickly lays one piece of artwork over another and rapidly displays one then the other so you can visually see how the changes look in a rapid, almost snapshot. It's great for picking out subtle differences.

I also really like the report option which allows the user to download a report of all the annotations made throughout the whole project and save it as a PDF. For our team, it's a great way to provide a simple audit trail.

The annotation tool is lacking in options and clunky to use. If numerous annotations appear made on a piece of artwork, they literally just clutter up the screen and get in the way of seeing the artwork. The software needs an option to make a comment and have it appear in the margin of the page and allow for continuous work without blocking the field.

We were struggling to find the right tool for project approvals. With Approval Studio, it was clear within minutes it was the right tool for us. It reduces misscommunication and friction between orders and deliveries and at every point we know what has been approved and what not.

For my brief usage period of Approval Studio, we weren't able to find any flaws

Apart from an easy way to get feedback, the app offers cool comparison modes that allow you to instantly check all changes made to your designs. Every action made within the project is tracked in project history and you can generate a detailed PDF report, so it is very easy to follow the project’s timeline. I like the UI and workflow, simple and clear product.

I wish I could attach files when I respond to comments in the review tool.

Project creation is easy - takes few seconds from launch to actual review, which is good. Online annotations help a lot and notifications help not to miss anything. It's easy to keep track on status, overall progress and to get reviews on time. Really helps to stay on the same page with the client and that means a lot.
