They claim they will provide a virtual visit online but their video system never works. I just spent an hour and a half getting knocked out twice and then promised a phone call visit which never happened. When I called back to ask why they didn't call me back Sierra said she forgot to hit "enter." She then put me though to some holding music without a word as to why and no one picked up. Later, I got through to a supervisor, Ceclia, who refused to have a doctor call me even though Wisconsin law allows it. She then hung up on me because I raised my voice after waisting two hours of my life on this company!! Do not waste your time or money with this service!

Had spoken with doctor on a virtual visit at 10:23 this morning went to pick up prescriptions at 6pm only to find out Dr. Cavanough never sent them to my pharmacy. Have now spent over an hour with Amwell customer service and they tell me it could take up to 4 hours at which point my pharmacy will be closed and my condition will not get better and I will not get any sleep again this evening. First impression are lasting and Amwell doctors left a horrible first impression. Hard to recommend anyone use this service. ***Update*** medication was not filled within 4 hours. It took 6.5 hours from the time I called to the time the actually called my pharmacy, which was already closed. Took them longer than a cable company to make right what doctor or their system messed up. To add insult to injury, their response to this was to email customer support to further escalate which is the department I spent over 2 hours dealing with last night with no result.

Paid 40$ for the doctor to tell me I needed a culture for a UTI. Called in a prescription for a medicine that is cheaper over the counter AZO. This is a rip-off, they give you medicine you already been taking. Save your money or go to cvs.

This is a bad review for Amwell and United Healthcare (UHC), who seem to be conspiring together in my opinion. The process to use this service is as follows;1. When signed on to UHC's website they link directly to Amwell for virtual visits with an ad-like banner about how convenient and inexpensive and COVERED it is. 2. Go to Amwell and go through their process, where you put in your insurance and can choose a doctor. Nowhere do you have the ability to see if it's in network for you or to select to only use an in network provider (I triple checked this). 3. UHC then denies the claim and then has you pay for the denied service on UHC's own website!!! In my opinion it seems as though they're either keeping the entire payment or they're taking a payment processing fee from the claim THEY DENIED! From the provider THEY RECOMMENDED!This is crazy, I can't believe this is legal. I will be filing a report with every agency that oversees insurance companies as this is absolutely ludicrous.

I will never use Amwell again. I payed my copay then a claim was filed portion left owing was my responsibility and without and notification from Amwell about amount I owe they just took it out of my account without letting me know that is not good business at all. My account with them will be deleted no one has will just take money from my account with out first making me aware.
