What do you like best?
It's very cost-effective and easy to incorporate into AWS-based automations.
What do you dislike?
If you're not comfortable at the command line, or don't already have experience with something like MySQL Workbench, it can be daunting to work with.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Migration of non-ciritical databases to cloud to save money, better pass through costs to other LOBs.

Amazon provides an alternative marketing method and sales platform to get your products to a wider audience
What do you dislike?
Amazon is difficult to use. The setup was confusing and it was difficult to publish products. The monthly fee to be able to continuously sell products is high.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I used Amazon to showcase some products attached to my Shopify store. I stopped using it temporarily because of the difficulty to use and the monthly fee. I will be using it again in the future, but it was not worth the effort at the time being. The benefit is that it will attract more customers to the products and eventually to the website.

we liked that it was hosted outside of the data center.

THat we didn't continue with the project we where going to use it for .

Amazon Aurora is a very diverse engine which delivers with quite a punch. Giving products like MySQL a definite run for their money.
What do you dislike?
If want a smaller database you have to go with a product like MySQL. Aurora will handle r3.large and larger databases like a champ.

Amazon Aurora is designed to offer greater than 99.99% availability and as it moves somewhat seamless cross platform with MySQL integration is not as much of a headache as first anticipated.

Ability to have a fast an efficient database that allows me to store things easier and to help when there are errors or viruses or potential crashes.
What do you dislike?
I like everything that I have used with this program.
