What do you like best?
Alooma is all about bringing your data into view. With data spread across the various tools that do best in their specific domain Alooma takes the "10%" left and makes everything available under one roof.
What do you dislike?
When running all your data through an external solution there is a certain amount of "ownership" loss. Yes, it's out data still but we now need alooma to run the business processes enabled by aggregating that data.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
There are many business problems we are trying to solve by being able to look across our data. Most are small but impactful as we discover how different pieces of the business are influencing others.
What do you like best?
I think there is some work to be done with this product but I do like the overall idea.
What do you dislike?
Not well explained documentation. This product can be better.

Connecting multiple data sets to destinations. There are some problems with configuration and/or compatibility.
What do you like best?
I love the flexibility that Alooma provides through its code engine feature. I can easily strip out any data I don’t want inserted into our warehouse with a few simple lines of Python.
What do you dislike?
Some of the inputs that are key to our internal tool stack are not very mature. I’ve had to work with support a lot. Good news is their support is very responsive.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Centralization of data. We were able to get all of our data centralized within a month.
What do you like best?
Since implementing Altoona, we’ve had great uptime and data quality, and the service has replaced the need for a full time data engineer to run our day to Day ETL needs
What do you dislike?
Nothing that I as the COO have identified yet. Seems like we’ve had good uptimes and robustness
