What do you like best?
I was given this product under the guise of it being the full photoshop program. This is FALSE. The good came with the bad. If you are looking to crop, filter, or colour correct photos, look no further.
What do you dislike?
There is no layers menu, and you cannot work with more than two at a time. The program is also set up VERY different from all adobe photoshop programs before or after it. It was a very time consuming process to learn, and I’m still not certain how to use this program to full capacity. I do not reccomend it to anyone. It’s worth the extra cash to get the full program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not buy this product. Save your money and time. Go with the full photoshop program, which this is NOT.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
This program can still be used to remove excess canvas from the background of my artwork via the “erase” tool, however, the transparent sections are still white, which is very hard to dicern from a white photo. It gets the job done, but is far more time consuming when compared to other products on the market.
What do you like best?
Opens most files from the Creative Suite
What do you dislike?
Lack of editing tools when compared to Photoshop, no vector editing tools, lack of support.

Day to day edits and adjustments of files from customers for printing. Main benefits are being being able to open and edit said files when all else fails.
What do you like best?
Can do most things that allow you to create an image that is publishable.
What do you dislike?
Not easy to figure out where everything is since I am a long time user of Adobe Photoshop full version and everything is in different locations within the two programs. More trouble than it's worth in my opinion. Prefer the full version of Adobe Photoshop since you can do more with it as well.

Just get Adobe Photoshop CC.

Creating images for publication or other display.
What do you like best?
Elements incorporates most of the power of the full version of Photoshop. I also like that it can still be purchased as a perpetual license rather than Saas. I'm sure that is coming from Adobe though.
What do you dislike?
Permanent editing changes to the files rather than the non-destructive editing found in products like Lightroom.

Not many. Only when images need heavy editing do I use Photoshop.

It is very simplistic. Unfortunately, too simplistic.
What do you dislike?
The user interface is not as intuitive as it should be. Things are a lot harder in Elements to do than in Adobe Photoshop because the controls don't work as well.

It can perform simple photo-editing, albeit among the same level of quality as many other free photo-editing software.
