What are the best aspects of this product?

Compared to other solutions 3Ds Max Design software is user friendly and flexible tool. The UI is clear and straightforward, and it has all the things you need for your work. The base tools are extremely powerful and you can use them to create even complex objects.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

To speak the truth, this program has steep learning curve, it has some limitations to polygonal creation.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I’m using this tool to creeate background elements and everything else for my films. Also, it is helpful tool for creating models for 3D printing so you can incorporate them into props or into miniature designs for pre-productions.

What are the best aspects of this product?

3Ds Max Design offers great set of modelling tools that are extremely helpful for architectural visualization and other techincal fields. It has great integration with Autocad products and this makes the software second to none. It includes using strong plugins and unmatched 3rd party rendering support like Mental Ray, V- Ray and others. The other wonderful thing about this software is the ability to create own modifiers, utilities and geometric objects.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Because of lot of functinality and options the Interface looks complex and it requires higher learning curve, and the UI is outdated and it doesn’t support hi-DPI displays.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It helps us to be compatible with other architecture firms.

What are the best aspects of this product?

It offers great set of features, and the product is very customizable. I like the ray rendering of materials because it makes things to look more realistic. I personaly like the tool with axes for adjusting components in controlled manner.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It takes some time for rendering, and often times we have to test scenes few times so we can get the desired output. And I don’t like that it has too many buttons and this means that there are lot of clickings required. Also, I don’t like the interface because it has lot of commands that take more screen space unnecessary.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Lighetining saves us lot of time by using the modifiler tab and by selecting one of the clones.
